Little Night Flower

Whew it has been a busy old week this week and I'm frantically playing catch up. I loved the look I did for day 2 of this month's tri polish challenge and ended up wearing it for a whole week. More details after the break.

I've been having a play with my acrylic paints again! I thought I would take the colours from a Delft tile and make them work on nails. This was the result: More details after the break.

My goodness, I can't believe it is that time again.  I've been working so hard and lost track of time, I thought the challenge started next week, just as well I was a bit more organised than usual. I was considering saving this for Monday/July's Tri Polish Challenge but I just can't wait to share it with you. I was browsing Pinterest for inspiration when I cam upon this adorable little number  http://pinterest.com/pin/404549978998030788/ .  I gave it a go and this was the finished result: More details and an alternative take on the design after the break.

I had a colour combination for a dark mani that I wanted to do but I wasn't sure about what form it would take.  After a bit of internet browsing I hit upon the idea of barbed wire and roses, but, everyone else used stamps to create the look and I didn't have anything suitable.  No problem I thought I'll just paint the design.  This was the result: Details, more pics and a bit of a variation on the idea after the break.

Anyone for tennis?  Sunday sees the men's singles final at Wimbledon and the UK once again has a chance at a winner in Andy Murray.  With this in mind I have created a mani to show my support. More details after the break.

This week I have been looking at my untried polishes.  I picked up OPI - I have a herring problem from the sale shelf in my local Sally's a while back when I was looking for a neutral colour to wear to work. More details after the break.

It seems everyone has done leopard print...except me.  This look isn't really inspired by any one person or image it was more a feeling of everyone else has done this, why haven't I? More details after the break.
