40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Cartoons and Comics

The prompt for this week is cartoons and comics and I have taken Harley Quinn as my inspiration.

As my nails are very short at the moment after a few breaks,  I have decided to use tips for this week's prompt to give a bit more room to work.  The Harley Quinn face is painted using a fine nail art brush and acrylic paint and I used polish for the other nails (Red - OPI - What's Your Point-Settia?, Black - Orly - Liquid Vinyl and White - China Glaze - White on White).  To get the clean lines for the diamonds I used striping tape.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Food

I'm playing catch up at the moment and this is the prompt for 2 weeks ago, which was food. I wanted to do something a little different so I created a design inspired by the secret rainbow cakes.  Those cakes that are covered in plain icing and look quite simple until you cut into them and the sponge inside is a rainbow of colours, sometimes layered and sometimes swirled.  I went with the swirled option.
