40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Glitter Topper or Flakie

This week's prompt for the Crumpet's Nail Tarts is glitter topper or flakie and my technique to go with this prompt is splatter.

I started with a base of Orly On the Edge.  To continue the comic theme from last week there are a few HA HAs painted in black acrylic paint (I see the purple and green as a bit of a reference to The Joker). The splatter was created with Illamasqua Omen and a dotting tool.  I covered the splatter with Orly Lime Green chunky glitter.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Food

I'm playing catch up at the moment and this is the prompt for 2 weeks ago, which was food. I wanted to do something a little different so I created a design inspired by the secret rainbow cakes.  Those cakes that are covered in plain icing and look quite simple until you cut into them and the sponge inside is a rainbow of colours, sometimes layered and sometimes swirled.  I went with the swirled option.
