Little Night Flower

The prompt for this week is cartoons and comics and I have taken Harley Quinn as my inspiration. More details after the jump.

I'm a little late with this one, but I've been away.  As my son is currently in the Haematology ward my inspiration for Halloween was vampires and in particular the classic black and white horror film Nosferatu. More details after the jump.

I bought a nail foil kit a while ago but I had not tried it out.  I started with something simple as it was my first time and I was trying it out on a nail wheel. More details after the jump.

This design was the reason I didn't include trees in the Little Red Riding Hood mani, as I didn't want to repeat myself. More details after the jump.

I got the inspiration for this design while catching up with the tv series Gotham.  The character played by Jada Pinkett-Smith, Fish Mooney, has black hair with red tips and I really like this mix. More details after the jump.

I've skipped over a few prompts as I'm not happy with the designs I created.  I may post them up later but for now I'm just going to concentrate on sharing the ones I really liked before moving onto a new challenge and posting more regularly. It took me a little while to think of something I hadn't already tried and then I realized I hadn't used the saran wrap technique.  This was really easy to do and I rather like the look of the finished effect so I think this will be one I will be using quite a bit in the future. I appear to be playing catch up again.  Prepare for lots of posts over the next couple of days and lots of colour.  Summer has come to an end and it is getting very grey and cold in this little part of the world so I decided my nails needed to be a lot more colourful. I had a few ideas for this and I have maybe taken a few liberties interpreting the theme.  I have interpreted pattern as something you might see printed on fabric and I went for neon paint splatter on black.
