Little Night Flower

I've created quite a few looks with a dark blue base so I thought I would use a light blue base for this prompt. More details after the jump.

I really like the look of a fishtail braid and it is a good  chance to try a few different colours together to see how they compliment each other.  I used a combination of a foil polishes and a holographic polish as they dry quickly and give a good level of coverage with just one coat. I picked up a few China Glaze holographic polishes in the sale at Sally's a while ago and thought I would use a few of them for this prompt.  As the polishes have sci-fi inspired names I went with a space theme. More details after the jump.

The work week is done and the weekend is finally here so it is time for something a little more vibrant on my nails. I started with a base of Rimmel Azure and stamped an image from Cheeky plate CH51 over the top  in 17 Holographic Silver.  There are nice subtle iridescent pink highlights in both polishes which complimented each other really well and this looks really great in sunlight. This weekend sees the start of the May Day celebrations so there will be another post up tomorrow with something to welcome Summer.  All we need now is a bit of sunshine!
