31 Day Challenge - Day 18 - Artwork
My inspiration for this look was Claude Monet's Irises.

I started with a base of Barry M Cyan Blue. Over this I used a fine nail art brush and acrylic paint to create the irises. I like the fact this artwork doesn't rely on definite shapes and is more of a mish mash of different shades of colour which create movement in the picture. While I'm no great artist I was quite pleased with how this turned out and it is more of an impression of an impressionist painting than an exact copy.
