31 Day Challenge Day 14 - Flowers

I wanted to do something a little quirky for this theme. I'm sure there are some fantastic flower themed manis have been created for today's theme and I wanted to do something a little different.

I started with a base of 2 coats of Models Own Blooboo.  I covered this with a coat of Nina Super Dry Top Coat to give a nice base to paint over and painted on the detail with acrylic paint and a fine nail art striper and a fine detail brush.

On my ring finger I added a little bit of China Glaze Adventure Red-y for the cat's collar with a tiny dot of Barry M Gold Foil in the centre.

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Food

I'm playing catch up at the moment and this is the prompt for 2 weeks ago, which was food. I wanted to do something a little different so I created a design inspired by the secret rainbow cakes.  Those cakes that are covered in plain icing and look quite simple until you cut into them and the sponge inside is a rainbow of colours, sometimes layered and sometimes swirled.  I went with the swirled option.
