31 Day Challenge Day 13 - Animal Print

I'm giving my natural nails a rest today (I'm still wearing the stripes mani posted yesterday) and I've painted some tips instead.  As my cousin has been very supportive of my nail art I had no choice but to do tiger stripes for the animal print theme as they are her favourite animal.

More details after the jump.

The base is a single coat of Barry M Gelly Mango.  I used a make up sponge to add Nina French White, China Glaze Aztec Orange  then OPI Brights Power.  Once this had dried I painted the stripes with black acrylic paint and a small nail art detail brush.  I added a couple of dots of Rimmel Shirley Temple for the eyes (this has a great orange and green sparkle which works really well with this look) and painted the pupil with black acrylic paint once the polish had dried.

I need to practice the tiger eyes a bit more I think. I did struggle getting them to line up as I was working on separate pieces rather than across my hand.  However, I've not tried this before and I'm pleased with how it turned out.  As the blog name suggest I tend to do a lot of this at night, so that is why the picture is a little dark this time round.
